Our Goals
Provide accessible, quality arts and crafts education
Every summer SOVAC offers workshops that brings a variety of teaching artists to the Fletcher Farm School Campus.
Many adults come to explore now media and share ideas with other artists. And some come to learn a new hobby.
Youth come to enhance their school art studies and take advantage of our scholarship program.
Teach traditional and innovative techniques in a historic Vermont setting
Workshops take place on a multi-building campus that allows members and visitors to enjoy nature in historic buildings like rough barn where creative metalwork and woodwork, a corn crib where jewelry and stained glass are made, and a weave house where you can hear a waterfall as you work.
Promote community involvement and entrepreneurship
When you are a SOVAC member, you are an integral part of a community that wants to share their knowledge of art and traditional crafts with others.
Join us in 2024, and be a pivotal partner in making SOVAC in the Okemo Valley Region of Vermont an exciting place for generation to come.
